Blood vessels! Please don’t creep up on my eyeballs! February 27, 2007

Now if you want to look good, you absolutely cannot have bloodshot eyes (are you trying to scare people in the broad day light? J). For some people who stay up till 4 or 5 am, they will wake up with these bloodshot eyes even though slept till the afternoon.

But what if you have so many things to do that you hardly have time to sleep? Then try sleeping from 10pm to 3am. This is a golden period, so even 4 hours will be sufficient for your beauty. Ok, if you think 10am is too early and you just had your dinner (duh~), then you try going catching a wink from 1 am to 3am, even if its just 2 hours. The important thing here is not going to bed later than 1 am!

Reading for a long period of time will also create stress for your eyes, making them look tired and listless. Why not catch a break and use a few minutes to rest and roll your eyes in circular motions. Your eyeballs do need a beauty regime daily and you can treat this as a form of eyeball exercise that will help make them look larger and brighter.

So now you are coming to an end to this article, will you take a break, drink a glass of water and get started on this eyeball exercises now.

Say Goodbye To Your Unsightly Dark Circles

Filed under: EYE BEAUTY — Meredith @ 4:25 pm

I know how dark eyes circles can really be a pain for women, making her look like Panda’s sister. Many people are still clueless about how dark eye circles are formed. Sensitive nose, poor quality of sleep, insomnia and staying up late into the night frequently are some of the common causes for dark circles.

The best remedy is to get your beauty sleep (though this might not be effective for those with sensitive noses) and the golden period for your skin to renew naturally is between 12am to 3am, so make sure you are asleep before midnight! You can watch those dark circles disappear if you maintain this sleeping pattern for a week, and it works for eye bags too!

If you really can’t keep get any beauty sleep, then the next best alternative is to use eye mask and eye moisturizer to help alleviate this problem. However, topical creams are only temporary solutions, sleep is still the most effective method to get rid of it.

A popular Japanese brand – MTM – is well known for their eye mask, where women had claimed the results are good and some even had their fine lines disappeared. La Prairie eye moisturizer also received good feedback.

I’ve once come across a posting in forum on using bee stings to get rid of dark circles! Bee stings are used medically for curing blood arteries blockages. However, I do not recommend this, as there is not scientific backing and there might be dangers or side effects that come with it.

I’ve also heard had friends who tried laser beauty treatments and the results are great, they are better than eye mask or eye moisturizer and show result faster. However, it cannot completely remove dark circles so sleeping is still the best remedy!
